Privacy

The Independent Health and Aged Care Pricing Authority (IHACPA) will collect the personal information you provide here to register you and enable its service provider Lane Communications to process your order and for administration associated with your order such as quality assurance and auditing. If IHACPA does not collect this information it will not be able to process your registration and/or order. IHACPA will disclose your personal information to its service provider Lane Communications but will not usually disclose your personal information to anyone else or to overseas recipients.

Shipping and Delivery

We deliver products using Australia Post. Shipping costs are influenced by the size and weight of the product and your location. Exact shipping costs are calculated in the shopping cart and will be added to the order total before checkout. Orders are dispatched within 5 business days. Shipping times are estimated at between 5 and 10 business days depending on your location.

Duties & Taxes

Please be aware that any relevant duties and taxes that may apply are to be paid by the receiver of the goods at time of delivery.

Credit Card & Security

When purchasing from IHACPA using this site, card details are transmitted through a secure server. Card data is not stored by IHACPA or Lane Communications during or after processing of payments.

Replacement and Refunds

If the product you have purchased is substantially unfit for its common purpose or if it does not meet the specific purpose you asked for at the time of purchase, you may be entitled to a replacement or refund.

If you have purchased the wrong product, you may request an exchange.

Requests for replacement products or refunds should be sent via the form provided on our contact page and must be received within 14 days of dispatch.

Products must be returned in original condition, and ideally, with a protective wrapping to avoid damage in transit.

Replacement

If there is a fault with the product that you have purchased from NCCC or from Lane Communications, you may be entitled to a replacement product. To request a replacement product please provide:

  • Proof of purchase;
  • The name of the faulty products;
  • A description of the fault;
  • Evidence of the fault, such as a photo; and
  • Your registered username OR your full name, contact details including your email and residential address (and your shipping address if different)

Your request will be assessed and, subject to assessment, you will be notified and a replacement product(s) will be dispatched to you free of charge.

Refunds

A refund will only be provided in circumstances where a replacement is not possible.

Please be advised that refunds will not be granted for a change of mind or in instances where misuse of a product in any way has caused a fault for which a refund is being requested.

Refunds will not be provided for goods returned in non-merchantable condition. Lane Communications, as the provider of sales and distribution services, will make a fair and reasonable determination of what constitutes merchantable condition on a case by case basis.

Student Discount

IHACPA will extend a discount to students currently studying in a recognised coding or health information management course, who can provide their course name, institution and student ID or enrolment number and who confirm by compliance with this policy, that they or the institution providing the course are paying for the books.

The Student Discount does not apply to a company, organisation or government body that employs a student and which the entity elects to pay for the student’s books. The Student Discount is intended as a dispensation in recognition of the financial hardship facing students paying for their own education.

Customers are reminded that falsification of information in order to gain a financial benefit is considered fraud and as such is a serious offence.

Electronic files

Refunds will not be provided for electronic files. Please take care at the time of purchase, to ensure that you are not making an incorrect or duplicate order.

Refunds will be provided for electronic files delivered via CD providing the CD wrapping remains sealed.
